A Little About Myself - Sarah Milligan
How I Became a Dog Groomer
Dogs have always been a passion of mine. Since I was young, I’ve always loved animals — both learning about and taking care of them. In 201,1 Alfie, our King Charles Spaniel, joined our family, then in 2019 following the birth of our first child, I began Barrow Dog Grooming and now have the opportunity to share my love of animals with my clients and pet owners all over the Furness area.
I trained at the renowned Four Paws Grooming School in Northwich where I gained my Level 3 Diploma in conjunction with West Midlands College. I am additionally qualified in canine first aid and I have a wealth of experience in different breeds.
I hope I get the chance to meet you and your lovely pet soon.

What Do You Want to Know?
I like my dog to be cut a certain way, can you help?
Of course, maybe your dog finds longer hair particularly uncomfortable or you find the classic skirt impractical. Not a problem, during your consultation we will discuss all the options and you decide.
I have more than one dog, can I bring them together?
You can, we welcome you to bring multiple dogs at the same time, this helps to reduce separation anxiety in some dogs, as such we encourage it, even if only one of your dogs requires our services, you are welcome to bring another.
Your Calendar says you are fully booked, can I go on a cancellation list?
You can be put on a cancellation list however to do so please give us a call. It is more likely that we will be able to find a time outside of our normal hours that may suit you.
