Hand Stripping (Bath not included)

Service Description

Hand stripping is the process of pulling the dead hair out of the coat, by using fingers and thumb, sometimes with the help of a stripping knife. A hard, wiry coat has a cycle where it starts growing and then sheds as it reaches maximum length. This is a process only suitable for certain breeds, and those who have not previously been clipped. If your dog has been neutered, this can affect the coats ability to strip but we would discuss this at consultation. Please note we do not bath as part of this groom and will require another appointment at least a few days later to minimise skin issues at an additional cost.

Cancellation Policy

We reserve the right to charge the full appointment fee for appointments missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours notice payable prior to any future booking. Arriving 15 minutes or more late for appointments will in some cases require re-scheduling and the full cost will apply, we will endeavour to complete as much of the groom as possible within the remaining time.
